Eternal rest in the heart of Mexico City
The American Cemetery, founded in 1898, covers more than 17 acres and originally was part of the Hacienda Tacuba. In 1907 the ABS took over the upkeep and maintenance of the Cemetery and it continues to be a major source of income for the ABS. The cemetery has 14, 500 gravesides and 930 niches. Funeral services can be held in the historical Wright Chapel which was built in 1910 and reconstructed in 1973. Today the American Cemetery is an important historical site in Mexico City. We welcome the opportunity to provide burial services to all nationalities, religions and persuasions. The cemetery has a lovely, calm setting and is conveniently located in the middle of the city.
